The Sanyo unit features a single tuner that allows recording to either DVD or VHS, disc copying functionality and single button recording/dubbing. The unit supports a wide variety of playback formats including super VCD, VCD, Audio CD, MP3 CD, CD-R, CD-RW and JPEG.
The Sanyo?s timer supports the VideoPlus system as well as manual timer entry using the on-screen display. There is support for DV input and NTSC playback of VHS tapes on Australian standard PAL televisions. The unit supports several DVD recording modes (up to eight hours) and is one of the few units to support all media formats.
