Retro gaming returns: Elevator Action heads to the PlayStation 3

Maybe we’re suckers for old school games, or perhaps it’s just nostalgia. Either way, we’re eager for the remake of the eighties classic “Elevator Action”, heading to the PS3 this week.

Square Enix, the company behind the remake, has released a trailer showing how the game has changed since its 1983 arcade release. Retro gamers will be pleased to know that “Elevator Action Deluxe” keeps the 2D view while upping the graphics to a stylised 3D look.

From what we’ve heard, there’ll even be some four-way multiplayer action too, giving you the chance to play against friends. And for those of you that yearn for the original, that’s there too, letting you relive the classic without having to go all out and buy an arcade machine.
