Product Safety Australia has issued a recall notice for Amazon Ring Video Doorbell 2nd generation. It follows reports the lithium battery could sustain damage during installation resulting in a fire or serious injury risk.
The product model number 5UM5E5 – sold between 3 June and 7 September 2020 nationally online and via:

Consumers should visit Ring’s website to download a new user guide before installing.
