Samsung looks to a transparent tablet tomorrow

While Samsung tries its hardest to get the Galaxy Tab 10.1 released locally, the company is – as expected – working on the next big thing in mobile computing, and that development may well be transparent.

Transparent display technology isn’t altogether a new concept, as both Samsung and Loewe have experimented with clear display technology for some time now.

To help grab attention for this project, Samsung has made a concept video showing what its transparent bendable tablet may look and act like, possibly throwing in bi-directional screens able to act as both camera and screen simultaneously.

Of course there’s no release date for the technology, but with transparent TVs possibly heading our way next year, this sort of tech can’t be too far off. We hope.
