One of the drawbacks to 3D in the home is that the glasses might not work or could prove fairly uncomfortable if you have eye problems. Luckily, Samsung has a solution.

Made-to-order prescription 3D glasses could be the thing to let you sink your teeth into the 3D world, with Samsung offering the product up to its Korean customers. Designed to work with Samsung’s range of 3D capable TVs, the glasses will use the same active shutter technology as currently Samsung 3D glasses use, except the lenses will come from an optometrist.

No word on when this will reach Australia, but given the push for 3D TV take-up, we imagine it can’t be too long before Australian optometrists jump on the 3D glasses bandwagon.
