Samsung unveils bigger tablets including a 12-incher

The tablets come with an enhanced keyboard, which now has haptic feedback, which produces a slight vibration each time you touch a key, and you can also use shortcuts like CTRL+C, V or X like you would with a normal keyboard.

The S-Pen included with the Galaxy NotePRO range shares similar functionality to the S-Pen on the Galaxy Note III, and includes the same Action Memo, Screen Write and S Finder tools.

All tablets in the range feature an 8 megapixel rear side camera and a 2 megapixel front side unit.

A handy feature is the Remote PC support, which lets you view and copy files between your PC and tablet, and even run applications on your PC via the tablet.

Cisco’s WebEX Meeting comes pre-installed on the Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets, and now for the first time on Android tablets, users can share anything on their screen as well as starting a WebEx meeting from contact list. Samsung e-Meeting provides collaboration capabilities by giving users the ability to share content during a meeting without having to access a central server or network.

The large 12in screen size means plenty of room for multi-tasking and great for full screen video.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO (12.2) will feature approximately $700 worth of premium pre-paid, long-term subscription offers. While the final Australian mix is yet to be settled, the US version comes with Bitcasa, Bloomberg Businessweek+, Blurb, Cisco WebEx Meetings, Dropbox, Easilydo Pro for Tablet, Evernote, Hancom Office for Android, LinkedIn, LIVESPORT.TV, NY Times, Oxford Advanced Learner’s A-Z and Sketchbook Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO line will come in various connectivity options including WiFi only or WiFi and LTE.

We’re still waiting on Australian pricing, but expect Samsung’s Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets in the first quarter of 2014, available from major electronics retailers.
