Sharp HTDV40H 2.1ch home theatre system with Audistry sound technology

Sharp Corporation has released an innovative Home Theatre System, the HTDV40H, 2.1 channels DVD Cinema with Audistry.

Delivering total output power of 250W RMS (75W/ch + 100W subwoofer), the HTDV40H features 1080i HDMI output for state-of-the-art sound and picture reproduction to enhance the home cinema experience.

Sharp’s new 2.1 channel system comprises two powerful front speakers and a subwoofer, supported by Dolby’s highly advanced Audistry technology – music to the ears of dedicated audiophiles. Offering features such as Sound Space Expander, Natural Bass (optimised bass without distortion) and Intelligent Volume Control, Audistry reproduces and stimulates sound signals to deliver an impressive level of audio performance.

The HTDV40H virtual sound technology gives the illusion of widely spaced speakers thanks to the Sound Space Expander function, which effectively fills the room with high quality sound from just three speakers. The system’s Intelligent Volume Control function differentiates between soundtrack music, dialogue and commentary and automatically compensates for sudden changes in volume – ideal for movies!

The HTDV40H is DVD, VCD, MP3, WMA, JPEG, CD-R/RW compatible and also comes with a USB host for streaming music files from USB devices or MP3 players. Other terminal options include HDMI out (1080i), S-video, video out (RCA), DVD component out, optical audio input (x2), analogue audio input and Scart terminal. The system includes an FM stereo tuner plus the convenience of full function remote control.

The system features a contemporary design incorporating a stylish piano black and silver finish, matching and complementing Aquos LCD TVs by Sharp.
