Small Business Answers.com.au is a new, free website. It is there to help Aussie small business to access useful advice and guides. And it is backed by GadgetGuy – so there are no catches!
Master marketer and COVID employment casualty Angus Jones has teamed with GadgetGuy to launch the free small-business, self-help website – Small Business Answers!
Initially, Small Business Answers is a collection of more than 70 original guides. It covers Finance, Government & Legal, HR, Technology, Operations, Marketing and Strategy. That content will grow substantially over time.
For example, search for the topical term ‘Termination’ reveals articles
- Being a self-employed contractor
- How to manage working partners or shareholders
- Employment contracts
- Payroll obligations
- Resignation, redundancy and dismissal provisions
Angus says it is a treasure trove of free, concise and accurate local information for time-poor business owners. If you can’t find something, pen an email, and the team will get on it.
“Often, the information that small business desperately needs is buried in jargon or locked behind a paywall. Small Business Answers will be the go-to-site for micro mum-and-dad family businesses to those with less than 20 staff.”
“We are looking for reader feedback too. There is a comments section where you can help others with your experiences.”
Angus has partnered with Channel 7 Sunrise GadgetGuy Val Quinn to bring you Australian Small Business Answers.
Val is also the publisher of GadgetGuy. It is the oldest (mid-90s) and the largest Australian owned free ‘deep-dive’ lifestyle tech review website. It provides real, independent and unbiased product advice.
As a small business owner for over a decade, Val has had to quickly adapt to COVID issues. His team now works from home. He has to keep the business culture, motivate staff and find new revenue sources in tough times.
“Anything we can do to encourage spending and help small business out is going to help the Australian economy.”
Small Business Answers (website here) is 100% independent and does not sell any products. It welcomes original and relevant Australian content and is happy to link to reliable and curated sources. You can submit possible content to Angus.
Val also contributes to Koshie Business Builders. Between he and Angus they have heaps of SMB experience.
