Targus spruces up the basic black or grey Ultrabook with shades of an Ultralife

Laptop colours don’t really change a lot, and while we’ve moved from a world completely dominated by a sea black laptops, you don’t often see a spot of colour in many machines. That’s why it’s important to throw some personality back in with cases and accessories, and that’s where Targus is hoping to make an impact.

Launched this week, Targus will be offering new cases and accessories that can bring a different colour scheme to the dark and light laptop in your life.

Branded under the Targus “Ultralife” moniker, the cases are designed for 13.3 inch Ultrabooks, though will accommodate up to 14 inches, with the 15 inch models able to squeeze in just barely (we tried, though we wouldn’t recommend it).

“Our collection complements the sleek look of Ultrabooks while delivering even more benefits than typical accessories,” said Neil Fox, Marketing Manager for Targus Australia.

“We are excited to enhance the Targus brand with our premium line of Ultralife cases, which highlight our dedication to delivering a slim, snug, flexible fit for busy, fashion-forward professionals who want easy access to their Ultrabook while on-the-go.”

A few accessories have been thrown in the mix too, with a small wireless mouse, a wireless mouse that also flips around and doubles as a presenter, and a USB hub that also features an Ethernet port, which can be useful if your slimline Ultrabook lacks it.

The cases start at $49.95, while the accessories range from $59.95 to $99.95 and are available in stores now.
