Telstra introduces a new phone for seniors

Doro isn’t the only mobile phone manufacturer thinking of the older generation, with Telstra jumping in on the action with a new phone with large buttons and compatibility for hearing aids.

The new EasyCall 2 handset lacks a lot of the features smartphones are known for – things like games, apps, and the ability to surf the web – but it does pack in the necessities for those seeking an easy to use phone.

Telstra tells us that the EasyCall 2 has very easy to read number buttons,FM radio, lock switch on the side, compatibility with the T-Coil hearing aid, built-in torch, and works in regional and rural areas thanks to the Telstra Blue Tick certification.

The price seems to be pretty good, too, priced at $99 with a prepaid SIM card and $10 worth of credit.
