Telstra on the hunt for a tech-savvy senior

Are you retired and love technology or know someone who does? Telstra is running a competition to find someone to be the face of its “Retired & Wired” generation, a campaign that aims to spread the message about how easy it is for seniors to use technology and keep in touch with friends and family. To encourage participation, Telstra will be giving away prizes, including Telstra T-Touch tablet packs and a $10,000 grand prize.

Finalists won’t necessarily be judged according to tech genius, according to the campaign’s website. Rather, it’s more about embracing things such as Facebook, Skype, YouTube, and mobile phones, as well as being able to show others just how easy it all is.
