Just a reminder, if you’re after a new premium phone – but one that’s a little less expensive than premium models from certain other brands – the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus phones are available in Australia from today.
Winner of the 2017 Technical Image Press Association award for “Best Photo Smartphone”, they feature dual Leica camera sensors.
The P10 has a 5.1 inch full HD display, while the P10 Plus ups that to 5.5 inches in WQHD (1440 by 2560 pixels), and both are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Both use Huawei’s own Kirin 960 64 bit octacore processor. The P10 has 64GB of storage, the Plus 128GB. Both can be expanded. The Plus also has 6GB of RAM compared to the P10’s 4GB. Both run Android Nougat 7.0 with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 interface.
The P10 is a single SIM model while the P10 Plus is dual sim.
Pricing: $899 for the P10, $1099 for the P10 Plus.
I’ve got the Huawei P10 in my pocket right now. Expect a review in a few days.
