If you’re a little tired of the same robotic voice telling you to turn left in five metres, TomTom has this week released three new voices aimed at making your experience a little more entertaining.
From today, owners of TomTom GPS units can grab a bit of Stephen Fry, TV’s Marge Simpson, or the hysterically cruel Mr. Burns.
British comedian and host of TV show Stephen Fry will say things like “this is going awfully well isn’t it” while animated Mr. Burns – voiced by Harry Shearer – will say “Take the third right. Do it, driving monkey!”
Both voices from The Simpsons fetch $6.49, while a bit of Stephen Fry for your TomTom will set you back $17.50.
Sounds like fun but I think it would get old pretty fast.
