Microsoft Windows Vista ready?

Parents may have heard about the new Microsoft operating system called Windows Vista? Toshiba notebooks that have been sold since last year are Vista ready and the A100 and M110 notebooks come with a special offer to upgrade to Windows Vista.

For parents waiting for notebooks to come with Vista pre-loaded (from 30th January), donnt forget to ask the school whether they will support Vista as an operating system (if the notebook is used at school), as some schools and most businesses will not support Vista for at least 6-12 months when they have tested the security features.
