Two photo comps begin, win stuff from Adobe and Hitachi

While we try to dig up new competitions for you to sink your teeth into, we thought we’d take the time to point out two new comps that have gone online today, each offering great prizes for doing nothing more than grabbing a happy snap or two.

First up is Adobe’s “Picture Perfect,” a competition that runs until the March 23rd and offers up the chance to win a copy of Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection, featuring that app everybody seems to want, Photoshop.

All you have to do is head to Adobe’s Facebook entry page and submit a photo of what makes Australia perfect for you, with one winner to be picked for Australia.

Meanwhile, Hitachi is running a comp of its own with two external hard drives on offer as prizes. Once again, photography is the name of the game, except this time, it’s all about street photography. Two sections exist here, each with their own prizes, and you can either enter with shots from a film or digital camera, or try your hand at capturing a shot from your mobile.

Like Adobe, Hitachi requires you to enter from its Facebook page, so head over there if you want to try your hand at the street photography comp. This one runs until March 19, with winners being shown at a gallery for three days in Melbourne near the end of April.
