Digital television, personal video recorders (PVRs) and Media Centre PCs have opened up a world of new possibilities in the living room. We are now able to watch crystal clear digitally-broadcast television, or even in high definition, with the ability to pause live broadcasts, record and save shows for later, burn recordings off to a DVD and even browse a comprehensive electronic program guide.
