Woolworths will be selling the new Samsung Galaxy S10 range for a massive $250 discount for pre-orders from 21 to 7 March (extended) February – and throwing in a pair of Galaxy Buds worth $249 as well.

This amazing Woolworths offer means that the $1199 Galaxy S10e is really $949 if you are quick – it should sell as fast as Woolworth’s bakery hotcakes.

Plus, Woolworth’s 36-month plans start at an amazingly low $46.35 per month for the Galaxy S10e. But hurry the offer is for one week – 21 to 28 February and phones start free delivery on 8 March. And you get a bonus 15GB to help set up your device.

Woolworths resells Telstra’s 4G network

Like other MVNOs the speed is capped at 100Mbps download. Its plans allow for a 100GB data bank where unused data can be rolled-over for later use and bonus 20GB holiday data every three months. Customers will also receive a free 12-month Family Zone subscription, for parents who want to add a level of online security to their child’s mobile phone.

Woolworths Head of Mobile, James McMurrough said; “Woolworths is all about making technology accessible for families.”

“We are proud to be able to offer our customers the best deals on the newest mobile phones that hit the market, together with Woolworths Mobile Phone Plans, at supermarket prices.”

“The $250 pre-order discount on the Galaxy S10 range and the bonus Galaxy Buds is one of the strongest offers available in Australia and will provide Woolworths customers with the added flexibility and accessibility to stretch payments as long as 36 months.”

GadgetGuy’s takeaway

If 5G does not interest you – and for 99% of Joe and Jane Averages it won’t for a while – this is a great deal from Woolworths that is cutting its margins to the bone and subsidising the cost from its plans! OK, you are locked in for 24-36-months, but it offers great value plans, and you can earn Woolworth’s rewards points too!

My pick is the Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 128GB for a measly $8.33 a month more than the S10e.

And if you don’t need the S10, then it still has the Note9, S9, A8 and J8 at unbeatable prices too
