GadgetGuy’s take – D-Link 5G routers are a beginning
Before we get too excited about 5G speed, read our 5G guide.
Note also that this information is from a global press release and there is no indication that we will get any or all of these items, let alone pricing.
And at present Tel$tra’s 5G reception is so patchy and data so costly that there is no real take-up of 5G phones or this modem/router technology.
We will keep you posted.
Vodaphone is giving 200Gb on unlimited data plans via 5g for $35to invited customers.
I’ve found Vodafone way as fast as telstra without being offloaded after 30 minutes like Telstra (painful)…
Vodafone seems to be leading in this space ATM, and if you could find an eSim portable router you could for $5 use their esim watch/tablet plan to SHARE the data from the main phone plan also… #winwin
