World Backup Day reminds us that it’s always a good time to backup

Yesterday was World Backup Day, something that we’re surprised no hard drive manufacturer reminded us of. That said, we’re suggesting you backup critical files today in case something happens tomorrow.

Around the world, system administrators are backing up their data to minimise any damage if it ever occurs.

Whether it’s a result of a hard drive crash, fire, or natural disaster, your data can get lost quite easily these days so back up now!

Haven’t got yourself an external hard drive yet? That’s ok, just check out one of our guides to find the hard drive of your choice.

It’s not just external drives, mind you, as these days you can backup critical information to the cloud. Internset security services such as Symantec’s Norton 360 provide space for you to upload critical files to, as do USB flash drives from SanDisk.

There’s a whole heap of options out there, so make sure you’re backing up the important stuff starting from yesterday!
