Hisense believes that the colour cyan will make all the difference when watching TV. But what does it mean by this?

Put simply, Hisense claims that adding cyan LEDs alongside its red, green, and blue backlights will improve the vast spectrum of colours TVs can show. Hisense’s headline 116UXS TV, which uses RGB Mini LED evo technology, can display up to 110 per cent of the BT.2020 colour gamut. Plus, it’s Pantone certified, a big tick in favour of its colour accuracy and how well it depicts skin tones.

The TV maker also says it’ll result in less exposure to the type of blue light that interferes with our sleep schedules, while also using less power than other TV technologies. It’s some interesting tech for sure, and you can see it all up close on GadgetGuy‘s YouTube channel.
