Flip or flat? That’s the relatively new factor to think of when choosing a new phone. So, I put the new Motorola Razr 60 and Edge 60 Pro head-to-head for a comparison.

Both phones are $1,199, so cost isn’t a differentiating factor. They’re also excellent as far as battery life is concerned. Of the two, the Edge 60 Pro lasts the longest on a single charge, thanks to its huge 6,000mAh battery. Moto’s conventional flat phone is also more powerful, along with a telephoto camera to help you zoom in when taking photos.

But where the Motorola Razr 60 excels is in versatility. Its 4,500mAh battery is one of the biggest in a flip phone, and it has a tough new hinge, which is great for setting up as a pseudo-tripod and taking great photos.

If you need more help deciding, I looked at both phones, comparing them in a head-to-head video.
