I was charmed by Samsung’s portable all-in-one TV and monitor

Of all the things I saw at IFA recently, the Samsung MovingStyle screen was one of the most charming. It looks like Samsung’s version of the LG StanByME 2, a portable TV and touch-enabled monitor all in one.

Using a 120Hz LCD panel, the Samsung MovingStyle sits on a wheel-mounted stand, which makes it easy to push around. It lasts for three hours when running on battery, and can be swivelled into portrait or horizontal modes as needed.

On the back of the display is what looks like a giant PopSocket that doubles as a hanger and a kickstand. It lets you unhook the MovingStyle from the upright stand, and either hang it up or place the screen on a surface at a comfortable viewing angle.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed an Australian release or price yet, so stay tuned for more info.
