Perhaps not a well-known fact about me: I enjoy a good game of golf. I’m not great at it, but I count myself among the many people who enjoy hitting balls with sticks. So, I’m pretty happy that PGA Tour 2K25 is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Confirmed overnight, it’s the first entry in the sim golf series on a Nintendo console since PGA Tour 2K21 on the original Switch. Previously, you had to look to PlayStation, Xbox or PC for your digital links fix. It looks to have feature parity with the other platforms, which is nice.
Although the publisher 2K Games didn’t specify a release date, Nintendo’s overseas listing mentions 2 February 2026. Importantly for a handheld console, PGA Tour 2K26 supports offline play. That might sound like a strange selling point, but the number of big games that arbitrarily require a constant online connection these days is not insignificant.
