Breville has announced two cordless stick mixers powered by rechargeable batteries, allowing you to mix and blend ingredients on a stovetop without worrying about any twisting, tangling power cords. Both mixers have two speed controls, stainless steel blades that can crush ice, a detachable shaft for cleaning and a smoothie attachment for whipping and aeration.
The BCS500 (pictured)Â has 9.6V of power and retails for $129.95, while the BCS600 has a 12V motor and includes a chopping bowl attachment for $159.95.
