DCRHC42

Nearer to the top of the food chain of the DCRHC series is the DCRHC42. A major difference between this and lower DCRHC models is the different CCD used ? 1/5.5? versus a 1/6th? giving a pixel count of 1070K over 800K. Additionally the HC42 comes with a widescreen LCD letting you see more accurately what the final imagery will be like when shot in 16:9 widescreen. It is also slightly larger at 2.7? as against the more standard 2.5?. Optical zoom is only 12x versus 20x however.

Like all the other DCRHC models, the 42 comes with a docking station for charging, editing and playback functionality.
