Launched to a rapturous welcome at CES and going on to win a heap of awards for innovation, the 2.1-speaker E3350 sound system from Canadian manufacturer Edifier is getting a colour makeover.
The system was intended for games console or computer owners but was formerly only offered in a standard black colour. Now, however, the $149.95 setup is available in the more inspiring shades of cobalt blue, metallic purple, burnt gold, and metallic mauve.
The satellite and down-firing subwoofer speakers are magnetically shielded, there’s a separate bass control on the sub for extra ‘oomph!’ and a 3.5mm audio input to connect your MP3 player. The futuristic design of the sleek, ‘dome’-shaped sub, tall speakers and funky remote with metal-disc volume control have already attracted numerous accolades.
Add great sound performance and solid construction at such a low price, and you seal the deal.
