Philips welcomes two new digital photo displays to its Australian range

Building off its award winning 7 and 9 inch PhotoFrame design, Philips is pleased to introduce the new 7 inch/7FF2FPA and 10 inch/10FF2M4 digital photo display. Ideal for sharing images with friends and family, the high resolution LCD screen displays images with the high quality expected from professionally reproduced colour photographs.

Top quality display for an amazing photo viewing experience

Philips PhotoFrames have a high pixel density active matrix illuminating rich detail, increased levels of sharpness, brightness and vibrant colours. The 7FF2FPA panel is capable of displaying an impressive 133ppi (pixels per square inch) whilst the 10FF2M4 displays 91.5ppi. In addition, the Philips PhotoFrame is designed to align with the photographs native 3:2 formats ensuring that digital images are displayed in their natural appearance without distortion.

Easily display and manage your digital photos

Downloading photos to the Philips PhotoFrame couldn’t be easier with the option of saving pictures straight from a memory card or by simply connecting the device to a PC via a USB connector.

The internal memory of the 10FF2M4 PhotoFrame is capable of storing up to 1,000 digital images. The 77FF2FPA has an internal memory of 16MB.

Convenient software for easily managing your photos and albums

The 10FF2M4 PhotoFrame includes more advanced software for easy editing and customisation of favourite pictures. The SmartAlbum allows users the ability to zoom and crop pictures, create and manage photo albums, and set up attractive transition effects for slideshows without the need for a PC. Users can also enjoy the fun of displaying multiple images on screen at the same time with a collage effect provided by PhotoFrame’s Slideshow Manager.

Design

Images on both models are enhanced by the sophisticated design including a variety of easily changeable frames, a solid metal stand design and cool clear finishing complimenting any décor.

Convenient compatibility

In order to support a host of different products, the Philips Digital PhotoFrame supports various memory card formats: Compact Flash (CFTM), Secure Digital (SDTM), (including the newest SDHC (high capacity), Multimedia Card (MMCM), Memory Stick (MSTM), Memory Stick Duo and Pro Duo (via adaptor), Micro Secure Digital (MSD – via adaptor) and xD card. When viewing digital photographs, users can select between landscape or portrait display to properly showcase images.

The 10FF2M4 is powered by an integrated rechargeable battery allowing users to display images on a shelf or can be passed around to show friends and family. The 7FF2FPA is AC powered but comes complete with an auto On/Off timer which gives the user the flexibility to automatically choose when they would like their pictures to be viewed.
