Plantronics have addressed a major issue for training and sports buds. Two of the new Plantronics BackBeat Fit models have ‘Always Aware’ eartips for safer training in any environment.
Always Aware eartips allow you to hear your surroundings. Plantronics says the Always Aware feature that enables outdoor enthusiasts to “hear what truly matters” – like taxi horns, barking dogs or screeching brakes – during their workout.
We are not sure how it achieves that without a form of noise-cancelling technology, but doubtless, Gadgeteer Thomas Bartlett will test that soon in a review.
It has also updated to Bluetooth 5.0 for better connectivity, longer battery life and has IP57 sweat and waterproof on its premium buds.
Peter Petrides, National Sales Manager, Australia, New Zealand & South East Asia, Plantronics said:
For more than 50 years, Plantronics has created audio solutions that help people have the best experiences possible, regardless of where they are or what they are doing. People now expect clarity and an enhanced experience as well as sound, so we created five new headsets that meet those consumer demands. People want to be transported, whether they’re running, exercising at the gym or creating an oasis of personal space while travelling.
