Home Mobile Alarming iPhone daylight savings failure Leigh D. StarkMobile October 5, 2010 1 min read Frustrated sleepers using Apple’s iPhone got the shock of their life this morning when they woke up without the aid of the alarm function. Apple’s Daylight Savings Time bug affected updated members of the iPhone community, with users of handsets running iOS 4 skipping alarms that had been set up the night before. Luckily, a fix has been found with other users suggesting that alarms be reset by turning them off and then turning them back on on to get them working again. This isn’t the first time a Daylight Savings Time bug has affected an Apple product. A similar bug popped up earlier this year on some phones in March when Daylight Savings Time occurred in America.
