If you’re looking for a quick and easy Christmas gift for the gamer in your life, A PlayStation Plus subscription is a sure bet. To make things even better, all three tiers are $40 off for the next seven days.
Valid for any new 12-month subscription between now and 20th December, you can get access to a vast library of PlayStation games and other features at a discounted price. Pre-existing subscribers aren’t eligible, unfortunately.
Once the $40 discount kicks in, it will make all three tiers cheaper than their price during the Black Friday sales. Here’s how much a 12-month subscription to each tier costs following the discount:
- Essential $39.95 (normally $79.95)
- Extra $94.95 (normally $134.95)
- Deluxe $114.95 (normally $154.95)
Even if you only need access to cloud saves and online multiplayer via the Essential tier, it’s a pretty sweet deal. You can subscribe to PlayStation Plus through a web browser, using the PlayStation App, or on a PlayStation device.
What is PlayStation Plus?
PlayStation Plus is a video game subscription service for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles that offers a range of benefits. This includes access to monthly games, online multiplayer, further discounts on the PlayStation Store and more. Each tier has different benefits, so it’s worth researching to find out which one suits you.
Essential is the cheapest level, which grants you access to additional PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games each month, in addition to the other online benefits.
