The recall is for 4-button LIFX Switch Models LFSWWHT4FAU and LFSWBLKT4FAU. As LIFX makes a range of smart bulbs and wall switches the recall does not include other models.
The product was sold nationally by LIFX Labs on its website and in JB Hi-Fi stores
If incorrectly installed, a wall screw may cause a short circuit. It is not legal for a consumer to check the install and risk electrocution. As it is still functional, LIFX can arrange repair or replacement, including an electricians cost.
What should affected consumers do if they have the LIFX Switch Models?
Contact LIFX Labs to arrange replacement of screws by electrician, or alternatively, consumers will be provided a full refund or replacement of the product.
