The Arlo Pro 4 is a 2K HDR spotlight security camera with a very wide 160° field of view. The longer -lasting battery gives 6-months typical use. The Arlo Pro 4 spotlight follows the Essential range in that it connects to the Arlo app via Wi-Fi. Or it can add more features by connecting to the Arlo SmartHub.

Arlo has a free essential use pack, but its subscription-based Arlo Smart adds considerable value.

It has a three-month Arlo Smart trial (details here). This provides extended 30-day rolling cloud storage of 2K HD video recordings. It has smarter, customisable notifications to detect people, vehicles, animals or packages. Via the Arlo app, users can easily view live streams and recordings, adjust their camera settings or access cloud recordings.
