This month’s great PlayStation Plus games feature a Destiny 2 expansion

PlayStation Plus February 2023 games Destiny 2

It’s a good month for Sony gamers, with some great titles headlining the February 2023 PlayStation Plus monthly games, including a major Destiny 2 expansion.

Available from 7 February until 6 March, the following games are available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe subscribers. You can redeem the games by adding them to your library, which gives you access even after the redemption period ends, as long as you have an active subscription. Subscriptions start at $11.95 per month or $79.95 for an annual plan but go on sale for cheaper semi-regularly.

PlayStation Plus February 2023 games

Evil Dead: The Game (PS5 | PS4)

Released in 2022, Evil Dead: The Game is a survival horror game based on the franchise of the same name. As Ash Williams and co, team up in co-op and player-versus-player action to seal the breach between worlds. In teams of four, you explore, loot, and fight to survive in a game inspired by the films and the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series.

OlliOlliWorld (PS5 | PS4)

One of 2022’s indie hits, OlliOlliWorld is a vibrant skateboarding adventure game where you discover the mystical skate gods on your path to Gnarvana. It’s the third in the critically-acclaimed OlliOlli series that wonderfully encapsulates the gaming adage of easy to pick up, hard to master.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS5 | PS4)

Beyond Light is the 2020 expansion to the multiplayer shooter Destiny 2, featuring the galactic setting of Europa and frosty Stasis abilities. Destiny 2 is free-to-play, so you can play the base game and pick up an additional expansion at no cost if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Mafia: The Definitive Edition (PS4)

A 2020 remake of the 2002 mobster game Mafia, this reimagined version gives new life to its 1930s prohibition-era setting. Playing as cab driver turned mafia family member Tommy Angelo, you navigate a deadly underworld alongside the Salieri crime family.

These monthly games coincide with the recent news that Sony is shutting down the PlayStation Plus Collection, a library of PlayStation 4 classics available to PlayStation 5 owners. Fortunately, you still have until May before the collection vanishes.

Also, remember to add January’s games to your library so you retain access. PlayStation Plus subscribers can redeem Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2 until 6 February. After this, the new selection of monthly games takes over.
