Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor, the company’s first flat Mini-LED model. The 43-inch screen incorporates Quantum Mini-LED technology, aiming to provide gamers with a more immersive experience through near life-like picture quality.
The Odyssey Neo G7 comes with a 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160), VESA Display HDR600, and HDR 10+ certification, which should deliver impressive picture quality, deep blacks, and vibrant colors. The matte display is designed to minimize light reflection during gaming sessions, potentially allowing for better focus.
This monitor is compatible with gaming PCs and consoles, as well as mobile gaming through built-in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms (MPRT) response time, which could result in smoother gameplay and reduced stuttering, input latency, and screen tearing due to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support.
Samsung has also included features that enable gamers to customize their experience, such as the Flex Move Screen, which allows users to adjust the screen size and position according to their preferences. Additionally, the Game Bar provides quick access to important settings without leaving the game screen.
The Odyssey Neo G7 is equipped with Samsung Smart Hub, a centralized hub that brings together entertainment, gaming, and smart home management. Users can access popular streaming services like Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube, as well as Samsung TV Plus, which offers 90+ channels in Australia and a variety of on-demand content.
Now available at JB Hi-Fi and the Samsung Online Store for an RRP of $1,799, the Odyssey Neo G7 aims to cater to those seeking a personalized and immersive gaming experience.
