A new BoostCharge Pro Fast Wireless Charger power bank from Belkin has a unique design that lets your charge both an iPhone and Apple watch simultaneously, making it an enticing accessory for frequent travellers.
With a 10,000mAh capacity, it holds enough juice to fully recharge an iPhone 14 twice or a Series 8 Apple Watch 14 times. For Apple Watches that support fast charging, like the Series 7, 8 and Ultra, the power bank is capable of wirelessly charging them from 0-80 per cent in an hour or less. In place of a watch, you can even wirelessly charge a pair of 2nd Gen Apple AirPods Pro, adding another layer of versatility for Apple users.
Plus, there’s a 20W USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port so you can charge your phone at the same time. When you need to replenish the power bank, pass-through charging means you can plug in the bank using its included USB-C cable and still top up your watch.
Although billed as a device for use with iPhones and Apple Watches, the power bank’s compatible devices list includes USB-C devices, so you should be able to charge other tech that needs 20W or less. Another reason why it looks like a decent option for travellers is its portability. At only 136.5mm long and 28.7mm thick, it’d easily fit into pockets and bags.
Out next week on 13 June, the BoostCharge Pro Fast Wireless Charger power bank from Belkin costs $139.95. It also follows another new power bank from the mobile accessory company that doubles as a MagSafe phone stand. Earlier in the year, Belkin announced a push towards producing devices made of recycled materials alongside several revised models using 72 per cent recycled plastics.
