GadgetGuy recently showed off, or should we say salivated over, the amazing Everdure by Heston, Fusion Charcoal BBQ on Channel 7 Sunrise.
Fusion is an authentic charcoal BBQ that can be ready in as little as 10 minutes. The tech or some would say ‘secret sauce’ is the fusion of the Fast Flame Ignition System, featuring an electric element, to get the charcoal burning at just the right temperature.
There is a lot of science behind the set and forget controls and the 15kg capacity Rotiscope Technology that uses old-fashioned slow cook charcoal for full Smokey meat flavour.
Like all BBQs, you need to get to know how it cooks. Charcoal is about utilising rising heat rather than ambient heat (like a Weber) so the rotisserie plays an important role for traditional roasts. However, it is excellent for grilling sausages, steak, marinated chicken wings and char-grilled vegetables like corn on the cob.

It is unique and beautifully designed. It certainly has the wow factor especially with the quick lighting of the coal and the hidden rotisserie functionality.
It is by far the easiest to use and less messy of any charcoal BBQ system on the market with great after sales service and support from Everdure.
