Logitech’s new iPad 2 case combines aluminium with a keyboard

We’re big fans of taking our iPad 2 on the go and typing, but a new keyboard case could just be one of the coolest accessories yet.

Designed in conjunction with Zagg, the company responsible for the Invisible Shield products, the Logitech Keyboard Case for iPad 2 is exactly what it sounds like: a case with a keyboard for the iPad 2.

But it’s also a little more than that, combining an aircraft-grade aluminium case fitting a Bluetooth keyboard inside. Unlike conventional keyboard cases, though, your iPad can exist freely, not being tied down with any black plastic or leather.

While keeping the back of our iPad clear worries us a little (as it can get slippery), we’ll know for sure when we review the case shortly. Otherwise, you can find it heading to stores this week for $130.

Logitech also released other iPad accessories this week, including a speaker stand with  an adjustable design, a Bluetooth wireless headset, and two speakers – one wired and one wireless – for use with most Apple iDevices.

Also released this week was the Bluetooth-enabled Logitech Wireless Boombox
