Grabbed this baby during the black friday sales, but can get the thing to output 144hz connected to pc. How do I get 144hz?
Hi Robert, there might be a couple of things worth checking. I think only HDMI 1 can do 4K @ 144Hz, so check which HDMI port your PC is plugged into. Another thing to try is looking at your system display settings or your graphics card settings to see if a lower refresh rate is selected. What processor and graphics card does your PC have? They may also limit your max refresh rate too.
Thanks for the response, Chris. Have an RTX 3090 and 5800X so should be more than capable of outputting obviously. But my display settings on PC only show 120Hz as an option when plugged into the 144Hz HDMI port. I get 4k@144Hz on my smaller 32in monitor via HDMI, so I’m not too sure what the issue is. Trying to contact TCL but their support webpage appears broken.
