Hisense partners with ‘The Living Room’ presenter Barry Du Bois

Get ready for a home improvement kick, because TV presenter Barry Du Bois has teamed up with Hisense for an upcoming content series promoting smarter living.

Known for his renovation and home expertise on the long-running Network 10 series The Living Room, Du Bois will share his expertise through content delivered across social media and various retailers. This advice ranges from getting the most out of your home appliances and technology, to limiting your environmental footprint.

Sustainability is a major focus of the partnership between Hisense and Du Bois. It lines up with the home appliance brand’s recent products, having just launched the most energy-efficient fridge in Australia. With a seven-star Energy Rating, Hisense claims the fridge saves 44.8% on energy use compared to its four-star offerings. Another facet of the partnership is helping people on their home improvement journeys, according to Finn Zhang, Managing Director at Hisense Australia.

“There’s no doubt Aussies have been more focused on home renovations than ever before, particularly in light of the time we’ve spent in our homes over the past two years,” Zhang said. “Together with Barry, we want to inspire Australians through their home improvement journey and provide practical tips on how to live smarter.”

Du Bois added that Hisense is a brand he’s kept track of for some time now, owing to shared values.

“Its focus on sustainability and energy efficient products is something I’m really looking forward to exploring further… I’m excited to share my advice to Aussies on appliances that will not only enhance their homes but lessen their impact on the environment,” Du Bois said.

An exact airing date of the Hisense content series starring Du Bois is not yet known. In the meantime, there is a dedicated web page for the partnership for when the content goes live, which will also be shared on social media.

As far as brand partnerships go, Hisense working with Du Bois is a good one. The presenter’s knowledge and charisma will no doubt help spread awareness of sustainable living.
